As I have said before I LOVE LOVE LOVE putting Princess A in cool band t-shirts. I also love her in yellow so when I saw this Pink Floyd shirt at Area Kids in yellow I had to have it!
Princess A is teething really badly so she takes her dog bone everywhere. I don’t think Princess A is ever not teething! People are shocked when they find out she is only one because she has so many teeth.
For some reason she decided her dog bone needed to be in the monkey part of her zoo.
So she chewed on her thumb for a bit.
Then she chewed on a ball.
Neither worked so she went looking for her dog bone and it was not where she had left it!
She found her dog bone in the our dog’s mouth… weird I know. She was happy to have her favorite teether back!
Since Princess A was having a rough go of it I decided to try and dress like her in solidarity. The Husband tried to get some pictures but Freckles kept jumping into the shot.
We tried to get him to sit next to us in the picture but he prefered to jump on The Husband and in front of the camera lens! Oh well, at least he made Princess A laugh!

It is so adorable how Freckled and Princess A share a bone. There is just something so wonderful about the relationship of a child and their dog. Great job on making her childhood magical. It’s so hard to do these days when innocence is lost before kids even make it to kindergarten.

I absolutely love that she uses a bone for teething, that is brilliant. I wish I’d thought of it when my kids were little! It has the perfect ridges and texture for teething. Not to mention, it makes for absolutely adorable photos.

I saw a dress last night that made me think of you and Princess A. It was yellow with a ballerina skirt, little flowers on it, matching socks and bow and a matching dress, socks and bow for a doll. It was so cute! Stuff like that makes me miss having little girls around to dress up in pretty frilly dresses. My youngest niece is 9 and she doesn’t like stuff like that anymore. 😦

Nice teething choice princess A! We parents spend tons of money buying things to help with teething and it’s always the dog toys. They even market dog toys towards kids now… Sophie the giraffe. My husband saw that I bought it for our first and he said “you spent $20 on a dog toy. I could have gotten her a chew toy or bone for less than $5 at the pet store.”
