We were so excited to take Princess A for her first bike ride. She got this bike from Grandpa S and Step Grandma S for her birthday. Princess A was not as excited as us. The moment we put her on the bike she started to cry. Then The Husband did his magic and showed Princess A pictures of her on his iPhone which always makes her stop crying. If you can’t tell Freckles was excited about Princess A’s bike as well!We thought she would start enjoying herself when we got outside. We were wrong!Well, at least Freckles was happy!Freckles walked next to her and gave her tons of kisses. He wasn’t able to get her to smile but he was able to get her to stop crying. So we headed to Central Park! Here is a cute picture of her feet… she is too short to reach the pedals but she still looks styling! Here she is getting more used to her bike! And here she is waving to all her fans!Princess A did so well we decided to reward her with some swing time!Freckles tried to play it cool but we knew he was having the time of his life!Princess A loves to be pushed by Daddy! After we had enough swinging it was time to head home!Princess A was so tired from the experience that she fell asleep on the way home! But when we got to the lobby of our building she woke up to show off her bike to everyone. And I finally got a picture of her smiling on the bike! But when we got in the elevator she fell asleep again. So we had a quick dinner and then put her to bed! Riding a bike is tough work… even if you are being pushed by your parents the whole time!

Stay Glamorous,

  1. I guess she was just afraid of the unknown. I got the same problem with Jaden. He doesn’t know it – he doesn’t like it. But if he grows to like something, you can’t stop him anymore. 😉

  2. What great pics. You are really getting good with your camera. You all look “Maaavelous”

  3. Thank you for these beautiful pics.
From what I see she had a lot of fun despite her initial apprehension. 🙂

  4. Great weather in NY – I’m a little jealous… 😉
Looks just like Lillian on her first tricycle-ride… but after that she almost went crazy every time I said we’re going to ride her trike.

  5. It’s hard being a toddler. They insist that naptimes aren’t needed. Then fall asleep during lunch and dinner. They are so big and grown up. Eventually they will be so big that you have to reach up to hug them. Darn kids just grow so dang fast. Shakes my head, I miss having little ones in the house, but other days i’m kinda glad that they are able to take care of themselves.
