Now I know why they say the Avenue des Champs-Elysees is the most beautiful avenue in the world. Even though it was raining most of the time we were there it was still gorgeous.

I loved watching all the interesting people walk by and kept making stories up in my head about their lives. The Champs-Elysees had every fabulous designer store but we didn’t go into even one of them because we had so much fun looking at the architecture and people. When we got to the end there was a Christmas fair with tasty food, shopping, ice skating, and slides. I want to take Princess A to Paris for Christmas when she is older. I am a New Yorker but have to say the French do Christmas better! Everything just seemed so magical. And they have cotton candy bigger than my head!!!!!! I love cotton candy but this was particularly good because everything is better in Paris! My husband liked it so much he decided to give himself a cotton candy mustache. Which was delightful! Awwwww this makes me miss Paris! A city with great shopping and cotton candy bigger than my head is my kind of town!

Stay Glamorous,

  1. Wow..just..wow! Loved the photos. Cotton candy is so yum! When Amelia is older, she will love everything about Paris too!

  2. love those pictures! ant the pictures of your husband with the cotton candy mustache is funny because did you know in France we call cotton candy “Barbe à papa” , in english: Daddy’s beard?

  3. I love reading your stories about your trip to Paris … I have exactly the same nostalgia when I think again to my NY trip! I think everything is more beautiful, good …. I love the energy of NY, extravagance …
Personally I feel almost better in the streets of Manhattan than in Paris! it’s crazy!
I hope you had a good day … In France the snow is coming!
